Here comes the calm: a bride's gift

A friend of mine was preparing to tie the knot, but the run-up to the wedding had been a total stress-fest. She was juggling work, wedding plans, and even hosting her parents and future in-laws from overseas.

I figured, what better way to help her out than with a gift to counter all that mayhem? I wanted to give her a little reminder to catch her breath in the middle of the beautiful madness of her wedding day. And if she needed it, something to help her kick back and relax once all the big day excitement had wrapped up.

I hand-picked eight items and packed them into a cute little box, complete with sweet notes and wishes. And — because I thought it would be fun — I challenged myself to stick to her wedding colour theme: pretty pinks and peaches.

CANDLE: A gentle flicker and tranquil scent to envelop you in calmness, setting the stage for a day filled with love and serenity.
HYDRALYTE: For staying refreshed and recharged, as you embark on a whirlwind of joyous moments today.
FACEMASK: To use after surviving the whirlwind of wedding planning, to replenish your skin as you reflect on the beautiful memories created.
MINI DEODORANT: Keep calm and smell nice, even if things are stressful!
MINTS: You’ll need all your breath for that “I Do!”’—Here’s a little help to ensure it's minty fresh!
BATH BOMB: Something special to throw in the bath and pamper you like you deserve after the big day is done.
MASSAGE BRUSH: After your big day, let this work its magic, massaging away any lingering stress and leaving you with a scalp that's as refreshed as your newlywed spirit.
LIP BALM: A berrylicious lip balm to keep your lips soft and smooth, ensuring every smile you share today is effortlessly radiant.

If you know a bride-to-be who needs some love and support on her special day, and you’d like to try this idea, I’d love to share the print-ready version with you. Just email me (Amie) at: info@wrappedinmeaning.com.
