Pop the balloon and the bubbly!

Want an idea for something unique, fun, meaningful, yet incredibly simple for Mother’s Day?

What you will need to create this novel gift

• A nice bottle of champagne

• Appreciation notes for your mum

• A jumbo round helium balloon

How you put it all together

Start off by composing a few words of appreciation and love for your mum; I recommend at least 20. Print them out, cut and fold them up.

Next, head over to your local party store and pick up a 60 cm jumbo round latex balloon with a large opening. Put all of the appreciation notes inside the deflated balloon before it is filled up with helium.

Once your balloon is ready, attach the string of the helium balloon to the bottle of champagne. The champagne will act as a weight to keep the balloon grounded.

Tie a note on the bottle that says, "Happy Mother's Day. Pop the balloon and the bubbly."

When your mum pops the balloon, she will be showered with the sweet notes you have written.
